Big park. Extensive trail system on east side. Nice sports fields. Mountain bike obstacle course. Playground. Historical landmark.
Whitchurch -Stouffville
Former mill on 267 acres
with hiking, a BMX track,
picnic sites and an annual
maple syrup festival.
Newmarket
Concerts & seasonal events are held at this scenic open space with trails, a playground and wetlands.

This 7 hectare oasis in the middle of town is home to a wide range of plants and animals including several bird species, cotton tail rabbits, muskrats, raccoons and regionally rare black maple trees.
York Region
The York Regional Forest is open to the public 365 days per year with no cost to enter. The York Regional Forest is made up of 2,400 hectares of protected land, located in
different parts of the Region.

than 150 kilometres of trail are available to the public.

Whitchurch-Stouffville Area is an
11 hectare, mainly wooded property, located in the Township of Whitchurch-Stouffville,
and sits on the northern edge of the
Oak Ridges Moraine.
Stouffville
Small neighbourhood park
with easy trails.
There are parking spots on
the streets around.
There are no public washrooms here.
Oak Ridges
This is a Stormwater Management Pond nicely built with the new neighborhood, and incorporated with the Oak Ridges Corridor.
King City
Great walk through the trees and trail. Quick loop through a decent elevation and of course the 99 steps which are fixed and well maintained. Only downside is the parking as there are only 8 official spots
Willow Beach - Georgina
Lakeside green area with a sandy strip popular for swimming, sunbathing and water sports.
Jacksons Point
Beach is still very nice just hard to find a parking space for out of
town visitors.
Kids loved it since the shallow water area is very long.
Goodwood
Beautiful vast variety of scenery changes in here. Moderate hills and some sort of private golf cart scavenger hunt property next to the trail - very intriuging.
Newmarket
Pangman Springs Conservation Area & Ecological Park has a
nice trail connected to
York Woods trail system.
North York
Hilly landscape known for cycling, with wooden bridges over ravines
& sightings of migrating salmon.
Nobleton
Cold Creek Conservation Area, is an ecologically diverse protected Area of Natural and Scientific Interest in south-central Ontario,
Markham
A birding hot spot, this 305-acre park offers trails, picnic spots and fishing in the Rouge River.
Woodbridge
Spacious park and natural setting for picturesque hikes, picnics & sports, Open weekends only.
Bradford
10 kms of trails on 4 loops to help you explore 300+ acres from dawn to dusk. Lots to check out: -- an arboretum (outdoor tree museum), -- the Discovery Play Garden
(a nature-themed kids park).
